On September 29, 2005, Magyar Posta, the Ministry of Health, the U.S. Ambassador George H. Walker, and Dr. Klára Dobrev presided at the launch of the first Breast Cancer Research Stamp to be issued outside the United States. Designed by Hungarian-American Dr. Balázs Bodai, the U.S. version has raised over $50 million since 1999 for breast cancer research in the United States. It will be sold for Fts 140 in Hungary, Fts 50 of which will go directly to breast cancer research programs and institutions. Congratulations to Hungary!
